Sales and Service Advisor

About the role

The Sales and Service Advisor will work in an FNB branch environment, delivering an exceptional, compliant customer experience. You will proactively understand customer needs, recommend suitable banking products, and guide customers toward digital and self‑service channels while adhering to FAIS, FICA and Treating Customers Fairly principles.

Key responsibilities

• Engage walk‑in customers in a positive, professional manner, living up to the brand promise “How can we help you?”.
• Identify needs, sell and cross‑sell banking products that align with customer requirements.
• Educate customers on digital platforms and encourage migration to e‑Channels and self‑service.
• Process transactions efficiently, meeting or exceeding set benchmarks.
• Manage leads, referrals and follow‑ups within agreed turnaround times.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, TCF and internal governance.
• Uphold ethical standards and act as a brand ambassador.
• Take ownership of personal performance, learning and career development.
• Stay updated on product offerings, systems and industry developments.
• Contribute to team success and adapt to changing customer and business needs.
