Sales Agent

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales Agent to join our client’s fast‑growing digital marketing and development team in Cape Town. The role focuses on prospecting, qualifying and closing new business while supporting the sales pipeline in a dynamic start‑up environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers through outbound calls and other prospecting methods.
• Qualify leads, present solutions and move opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system.
• Achieve and exceed defined productivity and performance targets.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure timely delivery of proposals and support.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in communications, marketing, sales, account management or call‑centre environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Analytical and process‑oriented approach, able to assess performance qualitatively and quantitatively.
• Self‑starter who can multitask, adjust priorities quickly and thrive in a competitive team.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM platform to track activities and manage pipelines.
