Salaried GP role with partnership pathway

About the role

Hospital Hill Surgery in Dunfermline is seeking a salaried General Practitioner who wishes to progress towards partnership. The role offers a supportive multidisciplinary environment and the chance to develop clinical expertise within a well‑established practice of around 8,500 patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality primary care to a diverse patient list, including acute, chronic and preventive services.
• Collaborate daily with a team of GP partners, ANPs, practice nurses, health‑care support workers and specialist clinicians.
• Participate in regular case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Contribute to teaching activities for St Andrews Medical School Year‑2 students.
• Engage in medicine reconciliation and prescribing using EMIS and Docman systems.

Required profile

• Fully qualified GP registered with the GMC and eligible to work in the UK.
• Commitment to delivering patient‑centred care within a team‑based setting.
• Interest in a long‑term career path that may lead to partnership.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMIS clinical software.
• Experience using Docman for document management.
