Salaried Financial Advisor (Talent Pool)

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Salaried Financial Advisor to join its talent pool in Empangeni. In this full-time position you will provide advice on a range of financial products to an allocated market, driving both new business acquisition and client retention.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service, processing cases, handling complex queries and resolving issues.
• Analyse client problems and propose appropriate technical or professional solutions.
• Welcome visitors, respond to information requests and refer complex matters to specialised colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, schedule follow-ups and develop call plans.
• Conduct sales calls, tailor presentations to decision-makers and gather information to assess interest.
• Build and nurture relationships with prospective accounts, identifying key decision-makers and influencers.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, regulatory codes and obtain necessary authorisations for exceptions.
• Monitor sales and market data for the assigned geographic region to identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• FAIS compliance and clean criminal and credit records.
• Minimum three years of work experience, preferably in sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation abilities.
