Salaried Financial Advisor – Multiple Locations

About the role

The MFC Salaried Financial Advisor will deliver tailored financial advice to clients across Aliwal North and the surrounding towns of Burgersdorp, Steynsburg, Venterstad and Barkley East. Reporting to the regional manager, the advisor is individually accountable for meeting sales and service targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service, processing cases, handling complex queries and resolving issues.
• Analyse client problems to propose appropriate technical or professional solutions.
• Welcome visitors, respond to information requests and refer complex matters to senior colleagues.
• Record all interactions in the CRM system, schedule follow‑ups and maintain accurate data for retention and business development.
• Conduct sales calls, tailor presentations to decision‑makers and gather information to assess client interest.
• Develop and execute relationship‑management plans to prospect new accounts and nurture existing ones.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory codes, seeking supervisor approval for any procedural exceptions.
• Monitor market data for the assigned geographic region and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Represent Old Mutual at sector events, build a personal network and gather market intelligence.
