SAIPA Clerk (2nd year)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated SAIPA Clerk in their second year of articles to join our accredited training centre in Pretoria North. The role offers hands‑on experience supporting the SAIPA qualification pathway while developing core accounting skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior accountants with day‑to‑day clerical and bookkeeping tasks.
• Prepare and process payroll data under supervision.
• Maintain financial records using MS Office and accounting software.
• Support the preparation of reports required for SAIPA articles.
• Ensure compliance with the training centre’s procedures and deadlines.

Required profile

• Currently studying BCom Accounting part‑time, or a graduate with a completed accounting degree seeking SAIPA articles.
• Own reliable transport and residence in Pretoria.
• Strong interest in pursuing a professional accounting qualification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Pastel Sage accounting software.
• Basic understanding of payroll processes (advantageous).
