SAICA Trainee Accountant (Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking motivated SAICA trainee accountants to join our dynamic finance department in the eastern part of Johannesburg. The role offers hands‑on experience while you complete your articles and work towards CA qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior accountants with day‑to‑day financial tasks and reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Participate in audit preparation and compliance activities.
• Support the preparation of financial statements in line with SAICA standards.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely filing of documents.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a SAICA‑accredited degree programme at an accredited institute.
• Strong academic record and ability to balance work with studies.
• Own a reliable car and a valid driver’s licence (non‑negotiable).
• Hard‑working, career‑oriented and committed to completing articles.
• Preference given to candidates residing in the east of Johannesburg.
