SACPCMP Registered Construction Manager – 6‑Month Renewable Contract

About the role

We are looking for a SACPCMP Registered Construction Manager to lead construction projects across the Western Cape on a six‑month renewable contract. The role involves planning, coordinating and supervising all on‑site activities to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all on‑site construction activities from initiation to completion.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, contractual requirements and building regulations.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for management and clients.
• Enforce Occupational Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
• Control site costs, assist with budget management and maintain accurate documentation.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, architects and local authorities.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input.

Required profile

• SACPCMP registration as a Professional Construction Manager (PrCM) or Professional Construction Project Manager (PrCPM).
• National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science or related field.
• 5–10 years’ experience in construction management of commercial, residential, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary site teams.
• Strong knowledge of South African building regulations and Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the Western Cape.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with construction project management software.
