About the role
The RPG Developer will design, develop, maintain and document code changes on our core system, translating business specifications and user requirements into reliable software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance RPG code following established standards.
- Analyse business requirements, estimate effort and propose optimal technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing and ensure code complies with ABIL programming standards.
- Review code, fix bugs, and provide detailed test results for implementation.
- Collaborate with testers, business analysts and users during JAD sessions and issue resolution.
- Generate change documentation, prepare implementation plans and support after‑hours standby.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an RPG Developer.
Required skills
- RPG programming language.
- Familiarity with ABIL programming standards.
- Experience using ALDON for change management.
- Unit testing and code review capabilities.
