About the role

SINOHYDRO Corporation Limited is seeking two experienced Roller Operators to join the Mpilo–Maseru Central Bridges Project. The role involves operating heavy roller equipment on reinforced‑concrete bridge construction sites in Maseru, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and control roller machinery during compaction of concrete and earthworks.
• Follow project plans and specifications to achieve required compaction levels.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to maintain workflow.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and report any hazards immediately.

Required profile

• Accredited Heavy Equipment Operator Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating rollers on large construction projects.
• Certificate of competency and proven experience in civil‑engineering works.
• Safety‑conscious, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Local (Basotho) candidate preferred.
