Road Accident Fund Attorney

About the role

The law firm located in Monument Park is seeking a qualified attorney to specialise in Road Accident Fund (RAF) matters. You will work independently on RAF claims, providing legal advice and representation to clients throughout the litigation process.

Key responsibilities

• Handle RAF claims from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, notices, affidavits and settlement proposals.
• Attend court appearances, trials and conduct consultations with clients, experts and counsel.
• Liaise with the Road Accident Fund and other relevant stakeholders to progress matters.
• Manage litigation timelines, court deadlines and prepare trial bundles and briefs for counsel.

Required profile

• Admitted attorney with 2‑3 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated experience dealing with Road Accident Fund matters.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.

Required skills

• Drafting of legal documents such as pleadings, notices, affidavits and settlement proposals.
• Court advocacy and trial preparation.
• Effective liaison with the Road Accident Fund and other stakeholders.
