Revenue Manager

About the role

The Revenue Manager will lead the day‑to‑day revenue, accounts receivable and cash management functions for Transnet Pipelines. Reporting to senior finance leadership, this role ensures accurate revenue reporting, compliance with credit policies and the smooth operation of cash flow processes.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate weekly, monthly and annual revenue reports.
• Oversee internal and external audit activities related to revenue.
• Ensure divisional adherence to Transnet credit policy and the Shippers Manual.
• Manage, train and evaluate the revenue controller.
• Control cash flow and maintain cash management processes.
• Validate revenue completeness through coordination with planners, depot managers and SAP reports.
• Develop and enforce operational policies for revenue and accounts receivable.
• Engage with external customers on revenue and receivable matters.
• Design and implement revenue control frameworks.
• Contribute to financial projects that improve revenue management controls and efficiency.

Required profile

• BCom Honours in Accounting.
• 3‑4 years of finance experience, preferably with articles completed.
• Self‑motivated leader with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact confidently with senior executives and produce high‑quality communications.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of SAP (preferably SAP ISOIL).
• Strong spreadsheet and numeracy abilities.
• Experience with internal control implementation and enhancement.
