Retail Sales Consultant – Luxury Homeware

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Sales Consultant to join our up‑market showroom in Durban. You will be the face of our luxury homeware brand, delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers.
• Promote and sell luxury homeware products, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Maintain showroom standards, visual merchandising, and daily operations.
• Process and manage orders for homeware items displayed in the showroom.
• Support external sales consultants and assist with the payment process.
• Conduct regular stock takes and ensure inventory accuracy.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of retail sales experience, preferably with a luxury brand.
• Proven ability to work with point‑of‑sale systems.
• Knowledge of homeware products is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑service oriented, sales‑driven and results focused.
• Professional appearance, self‑motivated and strong business acumen.
