Retail Sales Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Sales Assistant to join our team at La Lucia Mall. In this role you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile, acknowledge them and provide assistance throughout their visit.
• Maintain knowledge of the store layout to direct shoppers to the right products.
• Follow opening and closing procedures, keep merchandising standards, and ensure all items are correctly priced.
• Receive and check deliveries, perform stock counts and monitor product expiry dates.
• Handle cash transactions at the point of sale and perform cash‑up procedures.

Required profile

• Completed Grade 12.
• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Genuine interest in health and wellness products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy.
