Retail Branch Manager – Goodwood

About the role

As a Retail Branch Manager for Sanlam Developing Markets in Goodwood, you will lead the branch’s sales and service strategy, grow the customer base and ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue by executing the retail branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate and standardise the activities of Sales Consultants in line with strategic goals.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture to provide an optimal client experience.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, business planning and monthly sales reporting.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management across the branch.
• Oversee people practices with HR, including talent management, performance, development, grievances and capacity planning.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5, plus 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Minimum five years recent industry experience, including at least three years in a leadership capacity.
• Experience in service management, insurance sales and credit/lending.
• Current CPD compliance and relevant professional accreditations.
