Remote SAT English (Verbal) Tutor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAT English (Reading & Writing) Tutor to join our remote teaching team. You will work one‑on‑one or with small groups of high‑school students preparing for the Digital SAT, helping them master reading comprehension, grammar, rhetoric, and vocabulary.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality SAT Reading & Writing lessons remotely.
• Create personalized study plans based on each student’s strengths and weaknesses.
• Teach SAT‑specific strategies for comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary in context.
• Assign, review, and provide feedback on practice exercises, homework, and mock tests.
• Track progress and give regular performance feedback.
• Help students build confidence and improve timed‑test performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching SAT Reading & Writing, preferably the Digital SAT.
• Strong understanding of SAT question types, scoring, and test‑taking strategies.
• Excellent command of English grammar, writing, and reading comprehension.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Education, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred).
• Reliable internet connection and ability to teach remotely.
• Experience with international students is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital learning tools.
• Knowledge of the Digital SAT format.
