About the role
We are looking for a motivated and professional Remote Receptionist to manage our virtual front‑desk. In this fully remote position you will handle communications, coordinate schedules and ensure every caller and visitor receives a positive first impression.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls and emails courteously.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings and calls for the team.
- Manage shared inboxes and route correspondence to the appropriate departments.
- Greet and assist virtual visitors via video‑call platforms.
- Maintain accurate contact lists, calendars and administrative records.
- Provide general administrative support and data entry as needed.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in a receptionist or front‑desk role (virtual or on‑site).
- Friendly, professional telephone manner with strong communication skills.
- Reliable home office with stable internet and a presentable video‑call setup.
- Matric certificate required; a relevant diploma is advantageous.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Calendly or Google Calendar.
What we offer
- Salary of R25,000 per month.
- 100 % remote work arrangement.
