Remote Outbound Sales Agent / Appointment Setter

About the role

We are looking for a remote Outbound Sales Agent who will call US business owners to generate interest in a payment‑processing solution for cannabis dispensaries and schedule qualified appointments for the closing team. The role is high‑volume, target‑driven and ideal for candidates who thrive on dialer work and enjoy the chase.

Key responsibilities

• Make high‑volume outbound calls to US business owners and decision‑makers.
• Open conversations, build rapport quickly, and create interest in the product.
• Handle objections calmly and keep prospects on the line.
• Book qualified appointments and hand them off to the closing team.
• Follow up via call and email to ensure no lead slips through.
• Maintain a clean, up‑to‑date pipeline and notes in the CRM.
• Achieve and exceed daily and weekly appointment targets.

Required profile

• 2+ years of outbound call‑centre, telesales or BPO experience, preferably on US or UK campaigns.
• Strong, clear spoken English with an energetic phone presence.
• Comfort with high call volumes and a target‑driven environment.
• Proven objection‑handling skills and persistence to reach hard‑to‑access decision‑makers.
• Experience using a dialer and CRM platforms.
• Reliable remote setup: quiet workspace, headset, high‑speed internet and backup power.
• Availability to work US business hours.

Required skills

• Familiarity with dialer systems.
• CRM experience (Apollo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Five9, Vici, RingCentral, GoHighLevel).
