Remote IT Support Specialist

About the role

This full‑time remote position supports a growing US‑based company by being the first point of contact for clients and internal teams. You will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, maintain systems and ensure smooth IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support via email, phone and remote‑desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity problems.
• Assist with setup, configuration and ongoing maintenance of computers, servers and cloud services.
• Guide users through problem‑solving steps and deliver training when needed.
• Escalate complex incidents to specialised teams.
• Document tickets, resolutions and system configurations in the ticketing system.
• Deploy new software releases and updates, ensuring compatibility.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and minor server maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Experience working remotely and supporting international users is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Spanish proficiency required, Portuguese a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficient with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
• Experience using remote‑desktop applications and ticketing systems.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
