Remote IT Support Specialist

About the role

This full‑time remote position supports a growing US‑based company as the first point of contact for clients and internal teams. You will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, maintain systems, and ensure smooth IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support via email, phone and remote‑desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems promptly.
• Assist in setup, configuration and maintenance of company systems, hardware and software.
• Guide users through problem‑solving and deliver training when needed.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Maintain detailed records of tickets, resolutions and configurations.
• Support software deployment and updates.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and minor server maintenance.
• Track and analyze recurring incidents to improve system efficiency.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Remote work experience and supporting international clients is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Spanish required.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
• Proficiency with remote‑desktop applications and ticketing systems.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.

What we offer

• Compensation $1,000‑$2,000 per month (USD), paid twice monthly.
