Remote Frontend Developer (React) for UK Projects

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Frontend Developer with strong React experience to support a UK‑based employer. This fully remote position is ideal for a South African professional who can work independently and collaborate across time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces for multiple UK projects using React and TypeScript.
• Handle bug fixes, feature requests, and conduct code reviews promptly.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across different time zones.
• Maintain accurate development records, documentation, and version control.
• Utilise modern CI/CD pipelines, Git, and related tooling.
• Provide technical guidance, assist with sprint planning, and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify and implement improvements in performance, accessibility, and user experience.

Required profile

• 3+ years of frontend development experience, primarily with React.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple projects.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• High attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Experience with UK clients is a plus.
• Reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet workspace.
