Remote Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator to join our UK‑based team while working remotely from South Africa. This permanent position offers a professional home‑office setup, a market‑related salary paid in ZAR and requires alignment with UK business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, perform supplier statement reconciliations and manage creditors administration.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes, capture and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with invoicing, accounts administration and payroll‑related tasks where required.
• Conduct bank and account reconciliations and maintain organised electronic documentation.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers and UK team members, and prepare reports for management.

Required profile

• Proven bookkeeping or accounts experience with strong attention to detail.
• Highly organised, able to work independently and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
• Honest, reliable and capable of handling confidential information securely.
• Excellent written and spoken English with professional telephone and email communication skills.
