Relationship Manager – Sales

About the role

Lula is seeking a high‑performance Relationship Manager to drive B2B growth by facilitating access to capital for SMEs. The role manages the end‑to‑end sales process for funding facilities ranging from R10k to R500k.

Key responsibilities

• High‑volume conversion of business funding applications to meet and exceed monthly disbursement targets.
• Technical analysis of business bank data and financial metrics to determine eligibility for credit risk assessment.
• Identify existing clients eligible for higher credit limits based on repayment history and performance.
• Provide clear information on funding products, pricing, and terms to clients.
• Maintain a portfolio of repeat funding clients, ensuring long‑term trust through timely communication.
• Maintain a data‑driven sales pipeline with accurate reporting on status, forecasts, and conversion rates.

Required profile

• Skilled in addressing client queries regarding facility terms, interest rates, and fees with factual product knowledge.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from initial inquiry to final disbursement.
• Ability to leverage CRM data and financial trends to identify capital expansion opportunities.
• Deep understanding of all funding product mechanics to provide comprehensive information.
• Maintains high activity levels and precision in a fast‑paced fintech environment.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Zendesk or similar.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking.
• Ability to use AI tools and adapt to emerging technologies.
