Registered SAIPA Accountant

About the role

Our client is a well‑established accounting practice located in Monument Park, Pretoria. They are seeking a qualified and registered SAIPA Accountant to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, prepare independent financial statements and deliver full accounting and tax services. The role offers the chance to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements independently using CaseWare.
• Manage accounting functions for a portfolio of clients, including monthly bookkeeping.
• Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE and other statutory tax returns.
• Handle CIPC submissions such as annual returns and director amendments.
• Process payroll using Pastel Payroll and support HR payroll functions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax legislation and liaise with clients on financial matters.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting degree (3‑year qualification).
• Registered SAIPA Accountant (essential).
• 2–5 years of experience in an accounting practice, with independent financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in CaseWare and Pastel HR/Payroll.
• Experience with CIPC filings.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable transport and bilingual fluency in Afrikaans and English.
