About the role
The Life The Crompton Hospital is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse who is also a Midwife to join its Maternity Unit. Reporting to the Unit Manager, the role focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care throughout the maternity journey.
Key responsibilities
- Provide and supervise nursing care in line with legislation and ethical codes.
- Develop and manage comprehensive nursing care plans using the scientific nursing process.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of the healthcare team delivering basic care.
- Enhance patient satisfaction through quality improvement initiatives and effective complaint management.
- Maintain a safe, emotionally and physically secure environment, adhering to SHEQ and infection‑control standards.
Required profile
- General Nursing Degree or Diploma with registration on the SANC register.
- Diploma in a maternity speciality.
- Relevant experience in a private healthcare maternity setting.
- Understanding of the private healthcare industry and its challenges.
- Computer proficiency.
