Registered Nurse - Theatre Qualified

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with theatre experience to join a long‑established private healthcare facility in Cape Town. The role offers the chance to work within a growing specialist team and develop a long‑term career in a dynamic peri‑operative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide peri‑operative nursing care throughout surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients, instruments and the theatre for operations.
• Assist surgical teams intra‑operatively while maintaining strict aseptic technique.
• Monitor and document patient condition pre‑, intra‑ and post‑operatively.
• Maintain theatre equipment and manage stock of surgical supplies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to the growth and success of the theatre service through high‑quality patient care.

Required profile

• SANC‑registered nurse.
• Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Post‑basic qualification in Operating Theatre (PB Operating Theatre).
• Minimum three years of relevant theatre experience.
