Life Healthcare Group is seeking two passionate Registered Nurses to join the Surgical Unit at Life Knysna Private Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced surgical environment while supporting the unit manager in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage staff and stock costs by evaluating labour hours and controlling inventory waste.
• Maintain equipment and ensure timely maintenance.
• Provide quality patient care, conduct daily care rounds, and address patient or family inquiries.
• Facilitate department‑specific orientation for new staff.
• Investigate and resolve complaints promptly.
• Implement SHEQ and infection‑control measures, monitoring preventative actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards for infection control.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aligning with doctors' preferences.
