Registered Nurse (RN) – Temporary Positions in KwaZulu‑Natal

About the role

MHR is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RN) to fill temporary, part‑time shifts in private facilities across Newcastle, Pietermaritzburg and Tongaat, KwaZulu‑Natal. The role offers exposure to both general ward and intensive care unit (ICU) environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) scope of practice.
• Provide direct patient care on general wards and/or ICU, including monitoring, medication administration, and documentation.
• Assess and manage clinical risks, ensuring patient safety at all times.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Immediate availability for placement.
• Valid SANC licence.
• Prior experience working in a general ward or ICU setting.
• Competence in performing clinical procedures and risk assessments.
• Strong understanding of nursing scope of practice and patient care standards.
