About the role

The Registered Nurse will deliver cost‑effective, safe and high‑quality patient care in line with hospital standards and policies. The role involves both direct and indirect nursing care, assessing, planning, executing and supervising care to meet patient needs.

Key responsibilities

Provide and promote high‑quality patient care while ensuring safety and cost‑effectiveness.
Deliver direct and indirect nursing care, including assessment, planning, execution and supervision of patient care.
Act as a role model for evidence‑based practice and participate in clinical governance and health record auditing.
Manage stock control, risk prevention, and ensure appropriate acuity and skill‑mix levels.

Required profile

Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
1–5 years of experience in a similar nursing position.
Compliance with SANC code and relevant healthcare legislation.
Experience in private healthcare or healthcare funding is advantageous.

Required skills

Computer literacy.
Fluent communication in English.
