Registered Nurse – Paediatric ICU

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse specialised in Paediatric or Neonatal Intensive Care to join our PICU/NICU team in Johannesburg. You will provide critical care to newborns and children, working in a modern, technology‑rich environment alongside experienced nurse leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality critical care to paediatric and neonatal patients.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications and manage life‑support equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient‑centred care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients’ families.

Required profile

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse.
• Diploma in Paediatric or Neonatal Critical Care Nursing.
• Relevant ICU experience in a paediatric or neonatal setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Compassionate, patient‑ and family‑focused approach.
