Registered Nurse – MICU (Section B)

About the role

The Life Cosmos Hospital is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the MICU Section B team. Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced intensive care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage staff and stock costs by evaluating labour hours and handling debit/credit entries.
• Minimise stock waste and ensure equipment maintenance.
• Provide quality patient care, including orientation for department‑specific staff.
• Conduct daily care rounds and investigate any complaints.
• Communicate accurate information to patients and families during hospitalization.
• Assist doctors with daily cases and procedures.
• Implement risk management and infection‑control measures (SHEQ).
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with safety policies.
• Ensure compliance with ISO infection‑control requirements.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• ICU qualification (essential).
• Current registration with the appropriate professional/regulatory body.
• Understanding of the private healthcare industry (advantageous).
• Computer proficiency.
