About the role

Our client, a private Eye Institute in Pretoria, Gauteng, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for part‑time shifts on its General Wards. This temporary position offers the chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment while supporting a range of patient needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, quality patient care in accordance with the nursing scope of practice.
• Adhere to patients’ rights and manage medico‑legal risks.
• Conduct patient‑care audits and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Control stock and equipment following client policies.
• Perform duties and responsibilities as defined by the professional scope.

Required profile

• Available to start immediately.
• Own indemnity cover and a valid SANC licence.
• Proven experience in general units.
• Competent in demonstrating and assessing clinical procedures and risk management.
• Strong understanding of the nursing scope of practice and patient care.
