About the role
The Registered Nurse will deliver safe, cost‑effective, and high‑quality patient care within the Emergency Centre. This professional role involves direct and indirect nursing care, assessment, planning, execution and supervision of care to meet patient needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide evidence‑based nursing care and act as a role model for clinical best practice.
- Participate in clinical governance, audit health records for compliance, and manage stock and risk effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure appropriate acuity and skill mix.
Required profile
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
- Relevant trauma and emergency nursing qualification.
- 1–5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in emergency/trauma care.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
- Fluent communication in English.
