About the role
A leading private hospital in Pretoria is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Cath Lab. The role involves delivering specialised, patient‑centred care in a high‑acuity environment while supporting a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Mentor and train nursing staff and students, fostering professional growth.
- Support policy development, quality improvement, and risk management initiatives.
- Lead emergency interventions (RESUS) and ensure readiness across units.
- Coordinate patient services within a multidisciplinary team and act as a patient advocate.
- Provide advanced nursing care during Cath Lab procedures, ensuring safe, evidence‑based practice.
Required profile
- Registered Professional Nurse with a valid SANC registration.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Cath Lab.
- Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of general and specialised nursing theory and practice.
Required skills
- Cathlab procedures
- RESUS (emergency response)
