Regional Team & Business Analysis Leader

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Team & Business Analysis Leader to head a high‑performing group of Business Analysts and Consultants in Cape Town. The role combines senior delivery capability with people leadership, operational oversight and commercial acumen, supporting clients across retail, insurance and financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client‑facing projects, ensuring high‑quality business analysis outcomes and delivering strategic recommendations.
• Grow iqbusiness’ regional footprint by identifying new scope, capability expansion and team growth opportunities.
• Manage and mentor the regional analysis team, overseeing performance, career development and succession planning.
• Build and maintain executive‑level client relationships, facilitating workshops and solutioning sessions.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, resource planning and utilisation to meet regional financial targets.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Consulting or related leadership roles.
• Proven track record of leading consulting or transformation teams and managing senior client relationships.
• Relevant degree in Business, Commerce, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of business analysis practices, governance, and consulting methodologies.
