Regional T1 Specialist

About the role

The Regional T1 Specialist will drive the execution of the Tier 1 logistics strategy across the region, ensuring that key performance indicators are met and service levels to sales are maintained. This role focuses on optimizing finished‑goods flow, warehouse utilization, and transportation planning while controlling variable logistics costs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and control the finished‑goods and returnable‑container plan to meet service‑level targets.
• Support production performance, reducing downtime caused by logistics.
• Manage warehouse capacities, safety standards, and KPI‑driven productivity.
• Minimize stock‑age write‑offs, variances, and waste (SCOH).
• Determine transportation requirements, fleet sizing, and achieve 100 % load‑plan attainment.
• Implement and support Distribution Plant Optimization (DPO) and VPO qualifications.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for DPO and ensure alignment with regional sales plans.

Required profile

• 3‑year relevant diploma or degree.
• Minimum 2 years management experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution.
• Experience with plant optimization programmes and warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence across departments, and high achievement orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using Oasis systems.
• Familiarity with handheld devices for warehouse operations.
• Advanced SAP proficiency.
