Regional Sales Manager – Western Cape & Free State

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our pharmaceutical sales efforts across the Western Cape and Free State. Based in Cape Town, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a high‑performing sales team, and building strong relationships with pharmacies and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the regional sales team covering the Western Cape and Free State.
• Achieve regional revenue and growth targets through effective sales strategies.
• Oversee pharmacy and doctor detailing activities, ensuring compliance and performance.
• Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
• Analyse sales trends, identify opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor competitor activity and market developments to capture commercial opportunities.
• Manage regional budgets, forecasting, and sales reporting.

Required profile

• Proven management experience in generic pharmaceutical sales (non‑negotiable).
• Strong commercial background with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Experience leading pharmacy and doctor detailing sales representative teams.
