Regional Sales Manager – Pretoria & Surrounds

About the role

Dr Reddy's is looking for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead its commercial activities in Pretoria and surrounding areas. You will drive sales performance, support the professional sales team, and represent the company at key medical events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Professional Sales Representatives to meet territory sales targets, SFE and call objectives.
• Optimize sales operations across the territory through daily field visits, coaching and performance monitoring.
• Support planning and execution of conferences, speaker programs, CMEs and other promotional events at regional and national levels.
• Develop and implement strategic sales action plans aligned with marketing and corporate objectives.
• Engage directly with General Practitioners, Specialists and Pharmacists to grow business.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date client database for the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with Key Account Manager and National Sales Manager to identify regional opportunities.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business reviews to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical line management within South Africa’s private sector.
• Proven leadership of sales teams with a strong record of achieving commercial targets.
• Ability to develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Strong understanding of territory alignment, client engagement and performance optimisation.
