Regional Manager – Eastern Cape

About the role

The Regional Manager will lead a team of store managers across the Eastern Cape, driving operational excellence and delivering a competitive advantage for the Clicks brand. Reporting to the Regional Executive, you will be accountable for sales, profit and service standards across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a cost‑effective operational strategy to meet sales and profit targets.
• Identify and act on regional business opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
• Monitor P&L performance, analyse trends and implement corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational execution and risk management.
• Drive customer service excellence and increase club‑card participation.
• Provide regional insights to inform range, pricing, promotions and people strategies.
• Oversee store expansion projects to improve customer convenience.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, corporate governance and talent development plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of senior operational management experience in a multi‑site retail or FMCG environment.
• Proven ability to manage profit and loss for a region.
• Strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and driving business performance.
