Regional Inventory Specialist

About the role

The Regional Inventory Specialist supports the region by analysing, reporting and optimising inventory processes to reduce supply‑chain losses and overheads. You will ensure compliance with inventory governance, monitor finished‑goods, raw‑materials and container movements, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily inventory controls, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Track and monitor inventory postings, highlighting any deviations.
• Analyse packaging interface discrepancies and assist warehouses in resolving transfer variances.
• Produce weekly reports on supply‑chain overheads and present action plans with senior inventory analysts.
• Monitor demand changes and their impact on inventory holdings.
• Consolidate regional reporting on container impairment losses and develop mitigation plans.
• Conduct monthly obsolescence analysis and maintain inventory DPO processes.
• Audit inventory processes during monthly DC visits and review KPI performance.

Required profile

• 3‑year relevant diploma or degree.
• 2‑3 years experience in warehousing and inventory management.
• High integrity, attention to detail and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• SAP (essential).
• Microsoft Excel (advanced analytical skills).
