Refrigeration Mechanic – Skilled Trades

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join the CDE department of Coca‑Cola Beverages South Africa in De‑aar. The role focuses on installing, maintaining and repairing fountain and coffee equipment while meeting safety, health and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, remove and service fountain and hot‑beverage equipment.
• Repair and maintain commercial refrigeration and vending units.
• Diagnose and solve situational problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage spare parts inventory and perform equipment calibration.
• Test equipment before final assembly and verify quality.
• Adhere to SHEQ systems and HACCP/food‑safety requirements.
• Document work activities and follow safety, health and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Matric or N3 qualification in refrigeration/electrical.
• Registered Trade Test – Refrigeration.
• Minimum two years’ experience in refrigeration, vending or fountain equipment maintenance.
• Valid Code 08 driver’s licence (Code 10 advantageous).
• Proven ability to work in a team and follow safety protocols.
