Quantitative Business Analyst

About the role

The role focuses on designing, specifying, building, configuring and testing solutions that enable high‑quality, client‑centric outcomes. You will develop pricing and risk‑management capabilities while analysing financial models and system performance. Collaboration with stakeholders across the bank is essential to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Devise pricing and risk management solutions, including testing and production support.
• Construct and critically analyse financial models such as product pricing, curve stripping and scenario analysis.
• Engage in process design, analysis, testing and troubleshooting for pricing and risk‑analysis.
• Analyse system capability and fit, and validate data flows between and within systems.
• Take ownership of recurring production incidents and work with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Identify new opportunities, trends and macro‑environmental factors that add value to analysis work.
• Prepare and share recommendations for process and system improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Finance or a related quantitative discipline (post‑graduate preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in quantitative, risk and business analysis, including 1–2 years at a junior specialist level.
• Experience designing, testing and configuring quantitative systems and integrated solutions.
• Working knowledge of multi‑asset‑class products and trade life‑cycle concepts.
