Quantitative Analyst (Remote‑first)

About the role

This position supports quantitative researchers by ensuring high‑quality datasets, building internal tools, and improving research workflows in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment. The role is Python‑centric and focuses on data integrity, system monitoring, and automation without direct involvement in trading or portfolio management.

Key responsibilities

• Discover, validate, clean, and maintain research and production datasets.
• Monitor production systems, analyze logs, and investigate data or system inconsistencies.
• Support ad‑hoc research requests and perform exploratory data analysis.
• Design and build internal tools, scripts, and automation utilities using Python.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and engineers to improve research infrastructure and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Highly analytical and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable working with large, complex datasets using Python.
• Background in STEM fields (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering) is a plus.
• No prior finance or quantitative trading experience required.

• NumPy for numerical analysis.
