About the role
Halfway Hino Shelly Beach is looking for a qualified diesel technician with at least three years of post-qualification experience, including experience in a dealership environment. The successful candidate will deliver efficient technical, diagnostic and repair services and help improve the productivity and efficiency of the workshop.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and within reasonable timeframes, with quality of work that exceeds customer expectations.
- Perform all duties of a vehicle repair technician.
- Follow safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment and tools.
- Assist other staff in the service department when business requires.
Required profile
- Passed trade test and Grade 12 (matric).
- At least three years of post-apprentice experience.
- Essential: experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing trucks within a dealership.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Friendly, reliable, good communication skills and able to work under pressure.
