QARM Analyst

About the role

The pharmaceutical company needs a qualified QARM Analyst to support the release of compliant plasma for manufacturing. The role involves plasma sampling, testing, result reporting and ensuring all activities meet GMP/GLP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform artificial mini‑pool testing, hyperimmune titre quantitation and viral marker serology (HIV‑1/2, HBsAg, anti‑HCV) using ELISA kits.
• Operate the Tecan robotic sampler, maintain sample traceability, label, store and dispatch samples for external testing.
• Enter results into LIMS, review and approve them, and archive samples according to SOPs.
• Conduct instrument maintenance, calibration and report faults to the Head of Microbiological Sciences.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, temperature monitoring and ensure proper disposal of non‑compliant plasma boxes.

Required profile

• Relevant science degree or diploma.
• Minimum one year of laboratory experience with good knowledge of GMP and GLP.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, maintain accurate logbooks and documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tecan robotic sampler.
• Experience performing ELISA assays.
• Competence in using LIMS for data entry and review.
• Computer literacy, including MS Office.
