QA Analyst Tester

About the role

We are seeking a motivated QA Analyst Tester to join our Technology team within a fast‑growing fintech business. You will work closely with developers, product owners and senior QA professionals to ensure that software releases meet the highest quality standards for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create, execute and maintain manual test cases, analysing results to verify product functionality.
• Own the QA processes for assigned projects, guaranteeing that all deliverables comply with quality criteria.
• Collaborate with senior QA staff to design and refine testing strategies and plans.
• Partner with developers and stakeholders to investigate, reproduce and resolve technical issues.
• Perform post‑release and post‑implementation testing to capture any residual defects.
• Interpret and run moderately complex test scripts with precision.
• Continuously improve test case quality, reusability and testing packs.
• Review system specifications for clarity and completeness.
• Define environment, data, resource and tool requirements and design reusable test scripts.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in software testing or a related role.
• ISTQB Foundation (or equivalent) qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
• Good problem‑solving abilities, teamwork and communication skills.
• Understanding of the software development life‑cycle and how QA fits within it.

Required skills

• Manual testing.
• Knowledge of the SDLC.
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence and DevOps pipelines.
• API testing and mobile device testing.
• Basic SQL for simple queries and data analysis.
• Test case scripting and familiarity with QA/bug tracking tools.
• Awareness of test automation frameworks (advantageous).
