Python Software Developer – Full Stack ERP (Durban)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Python full‑stack developer to customise and implement ERP solutions for our clients in Durban. The role involves working with Python, JavaScript, HTML and PostgreSQL within a Linux environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and produce functional and technical documentation.
• Customise, develop and deploy ERP modules using Python, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS and HTML.
• Troubleshoot Linux servers, perform system configuration and support maintenance tasks.
• Integrate ERP with third‑party applications via OAuth2 and RESTful APIs.
• Carry out data migration, perform testing and provide technical training to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Python developer.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with good communication skills.
• Familiarity with ERP methodology and business processes.

Required skills

• Python and PostgreSQL.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap.
• Linux operating system.
• OAuth2, RESTful APIs.
• Version control with Git (preferred).
• Experience with Odoo or other ERP platforms (advantageous).
