Property Acquisitions Manager

About the role

The Property Acquisitions Manager is responsible for maximising profit for Nando’s and its franchisees by securing new sites and overseeing the existing property portfolio. This full‑time position involves strategic planning, site evaluation, negotiation with landlords, and coordination with design and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct business review meetings and develop five‑year property acquisition plans for each Casa segment.
• Identify and assess potential development opportunities, perform physical site surveys, and ensure sites meet Nando’s criteria.
• Negotiate lease terms and conditions with landlords, prepare proposals for senior stakeholders, and obtain approvals from the Property Committee.
• Collaborate with Design & Development, Network Planning, and other internal teams to align site specifications, manage construction relationships, and oversee handover processes.
• Perform post‑opening performance reviews, analyse data for future site openings, and manage renewal and reduction strategies to stay within budget.
• Maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, attend networking events, and stay informed on market trends.
