About the role
The client, a property management firm in Cape Town, is looking for a Property Accounts Clerk to join their team in Belville. The role focuses on supporting the finance function, handling creditor payments, and assisting with tenant recoveries.
Key responsibilities
- Process creditor payments accurately and on time.
- Create and manage purchase orders.
- Handle tenant recoveries and accrue related expenses.
- Provide administrative support to operational staff.
- Maintain filing systems using various methods.
- Perform general administration, procure office supplies and undertake ad‑hoc duties.
Required profile
- Matric qualification.
- Administrative or Finance Diploma.
- Minimum three years of experience in an administrative environment, preferably within property management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Experience with MDA software is advantageous.
- Strong time‑management, multitasking abilities, attention to detail and the capacity to work in a diverse team.
