Projects Engineer

About the role

The successful candidate will manage and coordinate multi‑disciplinary projects and resources, ensuring effective planning and execution across all project phases. This role involves contributing to project budget development, overseeing general project administration, and driving timely delivery of all activities. You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to achieve project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate a wide range of multi‑disciplinary projects from initiation to close‑out.
• Ensure close integration in the development of engineering scopes of work and technical specifications.
• Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, tracking financial performance against targets.
• Compile monthly technical and financial project reports for senior management.
• Oversee contractor and supplier management, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Maintain all relevant project safety standards consistently throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• BTech or BSc Engineering qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ engineering project management experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for project sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and reviewing engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of SAP (advantage) for project and financial data management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project for scheduling and resource planning.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
